IMPORTANT NEWS FROM THE COLOSSEUM

Minister of Culture has confirmed the plan of building a retractable floor on the arena as it was almost 2.000 years ago.
This will help protecting the underground galleries as well as allowing visitors to experience the Colosseum from a new point of view, the one that gladiators had.
The Mibact and the director of the monument Alfonsina Russo also said that the restored arena could open the site to exclusive cultural events such as theater acts and concerts.
Work will start within 2021 and we very much look forward to the completion of this amazing project!
